CJC-1295 without DAC

Also known as: Mod GRF 1-29, Modified GRF (1-29), CJC-1295 No DAC

CJC-1295 without DAC (also known as Mod GRF 1-29) is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analog of GHRH (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone). It stimulates the pituitary to release growth hormone in a natural, pulsatile manner. The short half-life produces a brief, clean GH pulse — making it ideal for stacking with a GHRP like Ipamorelin without disrupting natural GH rhythms.

Half-Life

~30 minutes

Common Dose

100 mcg per injection

Route

Subcutaneous injection

Frequency

1–3 times per day (pre-bed is most common for GH pulse during sleep)

Mechanism of Action

Binds to the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs, triggering the release of stored growth hormone. Because it lacks the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), it has a short half-life (~30 minutes), producing a single GH pulse that mimics natural physiology. This avoids the prolonged GH elevation seen with CJC-1295 with DAC, which can blunt natural pulsatility.

Reported Benefits

  • Stimulates natural GH release in pulses
  • Improved recovery and sleep quality
  • Increased lean mass and reduced body fat
  • Better skin elasticity and tissue repair
  • Synergistic with GHRPs like Ipamorelin
  • Minimal impact on cortisol or prolactin

Side Effects

  • !Injection site irritation, redness, or itching
  • !Flushing (transient)
  • !Mild headache
  • !Water retention (mild)
  • !Numbness/tingling in hands (rare)

Dosage Protocol

Common dose100 mcg per injection
Range100–200 mcg per injection (1–3x daily)
Frequency1–3 times per day (pre-bed is most common for GH pulse during sleep)
AdministrationSubcutaneous injection

Notes

5 mg vial — reconstitute with 2 mL bac water → 2.5 mg/mL: 4 units (0.04 mL) = 100 mcg. Best stacked with Ipamorelin for synergy. Take on empty stomach (no food/sugar 30 min before/after) for best GH response. Cycle 8–12 weeks with 4 weeks off.

Research Status

Studied for GH deficiency. Limited human clinical use. Common in research and anti-aging protocols.

Contraindications

  • Active malignancy
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Severe diabetes
  • Known hypersensitivity

Storage

Lyophilized: refrigerate. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 30 days.

Legal Status

Research chemical. Not approved for human therapeutic use.
